This time, we held a Basketball Day event!
Young people from Germany, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Japan joined the event.
There were 11 participants in total!
Some people joined for the first time, while others came again from the previous session, and it felt like our Sports Time activity is becoming more familiar little by little.
First, we started with self-introductions.
Each person shared their name, home country, affiliation, and a place in Japan they would recommend. Participants introduced places in Fushimi and Kyoto to each other.
After that, participants formed groups of 3–4 people and started the games!
Everyone got excited with great passes and amazing shots. During breaks, participants also enjoyed chatting within their groups while drinking sports drinks.
Although many teammates met for the first time, playing sports together created a moment where people could connect not only through words, but also through feelings and teamwork.
Next month’s activity will be “Table Tennis”!
