This time, we held a Badminton Day event.
Participants joined from a wide range of countries, including the United States, Laos, Korea, Thailand, China, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Japan.
The number of participants increased from last month, reaching a total of 14 people.
Some joined because they were looking forward to playing badminton, while others participated to connect with young people from different countries. Each person had their own reason for joining.

We started with self-introductions.
Each participant shared their name, country of origin, and their favorite food.
When unfamiliar dishes were mentioned, others responded with curiosity, asking questions like “What is that?” or saying “It looks delicious!” while looking at photos.
After that, participants paired up and enjoyed rallying with shuttlecocks using the entire Sports Room A.
During breaks, we could see participants naturally starting conversations with people they had just met, creating a great opportunity for connection.
Even if participants could not speak Japanese or were not confident in their badminton skills, everyone enjoyed the game with smiles.
